According to the basic rignts of children found in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and also the other international law documentas, the US sanctions against Iran in general and against Iranian children in particular are a violation of human rights. Especially with regard to the cruel sanctions against Iran, the question of children's right to health is one of the high priorities of governmental policies in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meeting on "Iranian Children's Right to Health during Sanctions" was held to pursue different aspects of this issue.
